Added when you buy, done before we send it
Choose tailoring on the product page and we do it before your order leaves us, so the piece arrives ready to wear.
How it works
- On the product page, tick the tailoring you'd like. Its price is added to the piece.
- At checkout, enter your measurements for anything stitched to fit — or choose “Call me” and we'll take them over the phone.
- We do the work, then send your order. The delivery dates shown at checkout already include the time it takes.
How to measure for a blouse
Use a soft tape and measure in inches, over the kind of clothes you'd wear under the blouse. Keep the tape snug but not tight. It's easier with someone to help.
- Bust
- Round the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape level all the way round.
- Under-bust waist
- Round your body just under the bust, where the blouse ends.
- Blouse length
- From the top of the shoulder, close to the neck, down to where you want the blouse to end.
- Shoulder width
- Across your back, from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other.
- Sleeve length optional
- From the edge of the shoulder down your arm to where the sleeve should end.
- Sleeve round optional
- Round your arm at the point where the sleeve will end.
- Armhole optional
- Round the top of your arm, through the armpit and over the shoulder.
- Front neck depth optional
- From where the neck meets the shoulder, straight down to where the front neckline should sit.
- Back neck depth optional
- From the bone at the base of your neck at the back, down to where the back neckline should sit.
Have a blouse that fits you well? You can measure that instead: lay it flat, and double what you measure across the bust and the waist.

A tailored piece is made for you, so it can't be returned unless it arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered. Our returns policy has the details.
